Navigating the Virtual Holiday Amazon Store:

When you visit Amazon’s virtual Holiday store, you’re greeted with cheery music and a festive display of their top picks for the 2024 Holiday gift-giving season. Click the circles on the ground to walk around and look closer at the many beauty products, tech, stocking stuffers, and more being showcased! To view product details, click on the dots next to the items – which allows you to add the item directly to your cart, or open the full product detail page in a new tab. There’s even a whole separate toy shop section of the virtual store!

What Does Amazon’s Focus on Virtual Shops Mean for Sellers?

Amazon Beyond is a newer program that has not yet been made available to the majority of sellers. We can only assume that top spenders and household name brands were able to get their products featured on an invite-only basis. It’s also reasonable to predict that Amazon could eventually roll their virtual shops out more broadly, as a more interactive online shopping experience could be the norm in the future.
