Launching a new product on Amazon without reviews can sometimes feel like trying to start an engine without fuel. Without reviews, there’s a lack of customer trust, which usually means little to no sales. But thanks to recent updates to the Vine program, you can now gather up to 30 genuine customer reviews before your product officially goes live, giving you a major boost right out of the gate!

What is Amazon's Vine Reviewer Program?
Vine allows brands to reserve up to 30 units per ASIN. The units get sent to top Amazon Reviewers for free in exchange for honest reviews. Unlike typical giveaway tactics that heavily violate Amazon’s strict review policies, Vine is the official, policy-approved path to collecting high-quality feedback on your product pages. It’s a win-win: you get real reviews from trusted voices, and your product gains early reviews without risking your account.
Enrolling Products into Amazon's Vine Program Pre-Launch:
First, you need to determine the launch date for your product. From there, coordinate with your content team to have the launch date entered on the back end when creating the new listing.
To be eligible for Vine, it’s important to make sure that your product has been Brand Registered, and that the selling account has been identified as a brand owner. Once the units are received by Amazon, go to Advertising > Vine, search the ASIN, and enroll up to 30 units (fees apply based on quantity).
