Historically, Brand Registry has not been the most user-friendly platform. Apparently, Amazon seemed to have gotten the memo — because their New Impact Dashboard and redesigned Homepage has made navigating the tool much easier.

What is Brand Registry?

Brand Registry is a special program for Brand Owners, and Authorized Brand Agents. If you’re a Brand Owner, there’s really no reason you shouldn’t be enrolled in Brand Registry. It allows you to control who can sell your products on Amazon by submitting claims. Plus, getting content changes to go through as a registered Brand Owner is a breeze!

The program also unlocks dozens of additional tools and programs which are exclusive to Brand Registered users. If you’d like to read about all the different types of programs available to registered Brands, we covered that previously in a recent article.

What is the Impact Dashboard?

The New Impact Dashboard provides insight into your Brand Registry Proactive Protections — highlighting all the different ways Amazon has worked to protect your brand in a given time period. Use the dashboard to easily see how many registered brands you have, which brands are protected currently, and how many Listings and Modifications were Removed or Prevented by Amazon.

The dashboard also provides 4 new Trends Reports

  1. Listings impact: Store/Brand/Category
  2. Listings impact: Trends
  3. Listings impact: Brands
  4. Listings impact: Protection type

How did the Homepage Change?

Amazon has recently redesigned the Brand Registry Homepage, and in our opinion, the changes were a major improvement. Previously, the Homepage was pretty much just a blank screen — severely lacking any links or helpful navigation tips, resulting in poor user experience.

Now, the Homepage is filled with useful Quick links, a Protect & Monitor Graph, Notifications, and Brand Management & Administration info.
